About Pam and ‘Aligned Growth’ Coaching
Unleash Greatness by Finding Your Energetic “Through-Line”
Over an extensive career —as a partner in an AMLaw 100 “Big Law” firm, as a culture and strategy consultant, and as a coach— I’ve learned that I bring the highest value at the nexus of the analytical and the intuitive., the professionally pragmatic and the personally transcendent.
Clients who find me through LinkedIn frequently ask either, “Why don’t you specialize in one industry?” or “How does partnership in a multinational law firm tie together with strategy consulting, small business coaching, and individual life & leadership coaching?” Great questions.
The short answer to both is that I do specialize, and really always have, in helping people and organizations make the very best of who they are, in order to achieve their uniquely satisfying definition of success. In coaching,, I sometimes refer to a strategy of growth outward from the client’s authentic, core values and talents as “Aligned Growth”, and to my style of coaching as “Aligned Growth Coaching™.”
I help individuals, entrepreneurs and organizations identify their “super powers,” or unique value proposition, and then strategically align themselves internally and externally to fully leverage and express their unique vision and gifts.
That’s my specialty because, for nearly as long as I can remember, my highest value has been fostering the inherent dignity and boundless creative potential of human beings..
My own “super power” of viewing people and the systems in which they operate both intuitively and analytically allows me to
recognize what makes a person, idea, or collaboration uniquely powerful, and uncover the internal or external dynamics that limiting its full expression
translate vision and values into overt, authentic mission and culture
synthesize disparate influences and experiences, and ‘hear’ what is unsaid, to identify underlying central drivers and root causes
transform team and organizational dynamics from dysfunction or distrust to energy, engagement and creation
optimize innovation by holding open the ideative space against the pressure of transactional thinking and limiting beliefs
translate ideas into actionable strategy by connecting creative vision to authentic and unique core capabilities while identifying and closing gaps
coach, motivate, engage and hold individuals and teams accountable for executing on their strategy
co-create, celebrate and problem solve as a champion for the vision
In sum, I help you, or your leadership team, figure out
what you REALLY want to do and WHY
where that thing intersects with both your most motivating core values and the “genius” of your highest and most unique capabilities, and
how to deploy all that information to achieve the success, fulfillment and impact you crave.

What People Are Saying
“I had worked pretty successfully with sales coaches in one form or another for over 20 years. But in just a couple of months with Pam, I experienced some paradigm-shifting insights and created actionable steps toward a more satisfying way of running our business — none of which I’d ever even touched on before. She seemed to listen for what was missing from my goals as well as what was there, and to make space for me to expand my vision to complete the picture.”

“Pam has this ability to ask questions that surface “big picture” connections in my situation, which I somehow totally missed until I talked it out with her. It’s wild to be heard and thought about in such a deep way! Maybe best of all, she's helped me explore some tough decisions, questioning some of my fears, and also asking how my options might or might not serve the underlying values that are most key to who I am. Nothing could make some parts of this “easy”, but the clarity I get from having that “north star” question to check in with is almost like having a button I can push to lift away a lot of weight and worry, so I can see all the possibilities.”
— Alice G
“I assumed I should only apply for bookkeeping jobs because that was what I did before. Working with you I saw how [many] more strengths I really have. I thought about the past jobs I liked best. I remembered they both were small enough businesses that I didn’t just do bookkeeping but also a lot of the office management where I got to help people. I’ve had my new job as “office manager/procurement manager” for a nonprofit for the last eight months and I feel so much more energy when I go to work now!”
— Jimena Q
“I started talking casually to Pam at a friend’s party, soon after I’d been brought in to lead a new team at work. There was even more resistance and under-performance than expected, and I probably mentioned my frustration. She asked some interested questions, including a couple off-base ones about something I’d mentioned, but that wasn’t the central issue. But I found myself thinking about those questions, and a couple days later asked one of my reports what he thought. There was a noticeable shift in attitude, and I got a lot of new information. I decided to try a few leadership coaching sessions with Pam. Over the last couple of months my perspective on the dynamics within the team has shifted quite a bit, as I’ve broadened into a more systemic and holistic view of this team, our environment, and how the leadership role has been and can be viewed. It’s not perfect yet, but functionality is definitely up and frustration and suspicion down.”
